Meet the Staff

Shelby, Business Manager

Shelby joined Dr. Ta’s team in 2015. She currently attends Tarrant County College and aspires to be a dentist one day. Being able to work with the children and their families is something Shelby enjoys most about her job. In addition to being a certified Registered Dental Assistant, Shelby is also certified in CPR, radiology, and infection control.

Shelby grew up in Fort Worth, TX where she currently resides. She was recently married to her high school sweetheart, Cole, in July of 2015. When she isn’t at work, you can find her playing with her dogs, Levi, Harley, and Opie, spending time with family and friends, or watching her favorite shows on Netflix.

Thuy, Dental Hygienist

Thuy graduated form Hudson Valley College in New York in 2006. She started in a general practice early in her career, but soon found her calling was in pediatric dentistry. She joined Pediatric Dentistry of Colleyville in 2016. She enjoys working with children and loves seeing them leave with a smile on their face. Thuy and her husband, Thomas, have two beautiful children named Ryan and Reagan (who she recently welcomed in 2020). Outside of work she loves to travel, spend time with her family, and enjoys watching her son's basketball games.

Kelli, Dental Hygienist

Kelli graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Texas A&M college of Dentistry in 2004. She dove right into a career in Pediatric Dentistry with her first job and she has loved it ever since! Her favorite part of pediatric dentistry is being able to guide a nervous child through the appointment and come out smiling at the end. Kelli lives nearby in Grapevine with her husband and 2 daughters (who keep her busy on the soccer fields). Her days away from work are spent crafting, and growing her Etsy shop, as well as going on many adventures with her husband and kids.
